Adding on that, Mr. Tola Ponlu, CEO of Prudential Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, said: “Financial confidence is an essential life skill that empowers people to make informed decisions and navigate life’s uncertainties with greater resilience. Through Levela, we aim to equip Cambodia’s young adults with practical financial knowledge and skills to better manage their money, protect themselves against financial risks, and build stronger futures – underscoring our purpose, For Every Life, For Every Future, and our commitment to supporting financial wellbeing beyond life insurance.”
Scaling Financial Resilience
Levela’s curriculum is backed by research developed in partnership with the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) at Accion, ensuring a robust, impact-driven approach. Prudential Cambodia is working with Impact Hub Phnom Penh to drive awareness and adoption of the platform, leveraging its strong network of youth, educational institutions, and community partners to expand access to practical financial education nationwide.
Designed with inclusivity in mind, an offline version of Levela is also available to reach underserved communities, including informal and low-income workers, ensuring that financial education remains accessible to all.
Nicole Ngeow, Executive Director of Prudence Foundation, said: “At Prudence Foundation, building resilient communities is at the heart of what we do. Levela is the extension of our award-winning Cha-Ching financial literacy programme that has reached over 3.9 million children through its curriculum in Asia and Africa. With our new financial literacy app, we are providing financial knowledge and tools to a new generation of young adults in need. We’re delighted to roll out Levela with our partners in Cambodia to help build the resilience of a large youth population that has growing access to financial services and the need for these essential life skills.”
To expand the reach of Levela among young people and communities across Cambodia, Prudential Cambodia will implement three key initiatives in 2026:
- integrating Levela content into entrepreneurship courses at 10 partner universities across Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap, and Svay Rieng;
- extending financial literacy education to schools and local communities through a network of 25 youth facilitators;
- and driving digital campaigns to achieve at least 15,000 app downloads and online learners by the end of the year.
Ms. Sovattha Neou, CEO of Impact Hub Phnom Penh (IHPP), said: “At Impact Hub Phnom Penh, we believe young people need practical tools, confidence and informed decision-making skills to shape their futures. Financial literacy is the foundation of entrepreneurship as it helps them manage their resources wisely, take responsible risks and turn their ideas into more sustainable actions.”
