Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages the company’s lobby area to ensure that reception area is safe, well cleaned and tidy

Job Title                       : Actuarial Associate

Reporting To                : Chief - Actuarial

Department                 : Finance Department

Main Responsibilities:

  • Calculation of the policy liabilities and required capital for demonstration of statutory solvency in accordance with local regulations and actuarial principles. Prepare reports on the statutory solvency position. Perform analysis to ensure optimal capital management for the company.
  • Preparation of financial results on various basis, including IFRS and EEV with accuracy, on a timely basis, on sound principles after thorough analysis.
  •  Modeling and profit testing of new products.
  • Performing regular experience analyses in relation to expenses, claims and persistency.
  • Maintenance of reinsurance systems, preparation of accounts, and the assessment, documentation and update of reinsurance treaties.
  • Work closely with peers in the Finance team for financial reporting and budgeting & forecasting.
  • Sitting for and passing actuarial exams of a recognized professional actuarial association.

 Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate, in a discipline which includes significant mathematical content, from a reputable institution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assists reporting line in producing relevant reports
  • Assists reporting line in reviewing, challenging and consolidating the report from 1st line such as incident/non-compliance/complaint reports;
  • Assists reporting line in delivering Risk and Control Assessment, Key Indicator, Scenario Analysis exercises, and minutes taking;

Requirements:

  • Identify root causes, complaint trends and driving quality improvement opportunities
  • Identify drivers of customers’ dissatisfaction through analysis and scoping of root causes and developing & implementing appropriate quality process solutions to address customer issues.
