Prudential Cambodia, a leading life insurance company of Cambodia, announced the 30 winners who had sent in correct answers to the questions in the company’s life insurance educational series, “Life Insurance and You.”

On February 13, 2016, an event was organized at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh to congratulate and hand over the prizes to the 30 winners.

The prizes were 30 book vouchers from the Monument Books that are worth a total of USD 7,250.

“Through reading the series, I notice that I have gained sound understanding of life insurance services by Prudential Cambodia, and I understand the benefits of financial planning, especially when I have my own family and children in the future,” said Miss Tes Kimlay, one of the winners.

The 10-article series, which were published in Rasmei Kampuchea Daily newspaper and can be found on Prudential Cambodia’s website, focused on many important aspects of life insurance, which enlighten readers about life insurance and help them to make good financial planning for the future of their families.

In each article, there was a question section that readers could take part in and send their answers to the company directly via email. The first three people to send in the correct answer for each article would become the winners.

According to Prudential Cambodia, hundreds of people have sent in their answers, and their answers showed that many of them have a pretty good understanding of life insurance.

“Life insurance is a relatively new sector in Cambodia, and not too many people understand clearly what it is. That is why Prudential Cambodia created this educational series to help people and explain the common questions that people have about the service,” said Mr. Narath Veasna, Chief Officer-Human Resources and Administration at Prudential Cambodia.

“Besides publishing this series, the company has also organized numerous educational seminars to help educate people on life insurance. Basically, we are doing our part in helping people understand life insurance and make informed decisions when considering life insurance services,” he added.

With the education series and seminars, Prudential Cambodia is confident that more people are having a better understanding of life insurance and are able to make better financial planning for the future of their families and loved ones through the life insurer they trust.
